Ms. Kimberly
Director & Owner
In 2008 Kimberly made her dream a reality when she opened the doors to her own Preschool. Learn and Grow has been full of incredible students ever since. She feels blessed to have built wonderful relationships with the families over the years. Sierra College is where Kimberly attended, and took her ECE courses and received her 2 AA degrees. When Kimberly is not busy with the Preschool. she enjoys spending time with family, her husband and 4 children, line dancing, boating, and scrapbooking.
Ms. Amanda
Assistant Director & Teacher
Amanda earned her Preschool teaching Certification at Sierra College. Growing up, her Mom ran her own daycare, and she had the opportunity to spend a lot of time playing with children and helping them learn. That's when she decided she wanted to make her career in education with children. Amanda grew up in Auburn and loves to spend all her time outside. She and her husband enjoy keeping busy with two year old Carson. She enjoys hiking, swimming, and exploring. Some of her favorite pastimes also include gardening, cooking, and event planning.
Ms. Hailey C.
Teacher
Hailey grew up in Newcastle. She was part of the first graduating class at Learn and Grow. She has been attending Sierra College for the past 2 years and thrilled to complete her Preschool Certification this year. She is also studying to go into the medical field. Hailey has always loved being with children and being the oldest to her 3 siblings. Her mother is Ms. Kimberly, and she enjoys reading and journaling.
Ms. Hailey S.
Teacher
Hailey received her Preschool Certification from Sierra College. She plans to further her education next year. Her mother was a preschool teacher and Hailey has always had a passion for teaching children. She is also a private swim instructor and enjoys filling her summers teaching and providing swimming lessons. This is her 4th year teaching Preschool. Hailey enjoys reading and crocheting.
Ms. Heidi
Teacher
Ms. Heidi received her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Sierra College. She was a preschool teacher for five years before having her 2 children (6 year old daughter and 4 year old son). Her and her husband have been together for 13 years and both grew up in this area. They have a little farm and love the outdoors. She is very creative, organized, and loves working with children.
Ms. Kathryn
Teacher
Kathryn earned her Bachelor's Degree from CSU Fresno. She has spent years volunteering in her son's classrooms and activities. She loves that she can enjoy teaching and be a present mother to her 3 sons ages 2, 5, and 9. Her and her husband have been together for 15 years, and are originally from the Central Valley. They are happy to call Newcastle their forever home and live near the Preschool. She loves to spend time with family, being outside, doing arts and crafts, enjoys animals, and playing sports with her sons.
