Ms. Kimberly
Director & Owner
In 2008 Kimberly made her dream a reality when she opened the doors to her own Preschool. Learn and Grow has been full of incredible students ever since. She feels blessed to have built wonderful relationships with the families over the years. Sierra College is where Kimberly attended, and took her ECE courses and received her 2 AA degrees. When Kimberly is not busy with the Preschool. she enjoys spending time with family, her husband and 4 children, line dancing, boating, and scrapbooking.
Ms. Amanda
Assistant Director & Teacher
Amanda earned her Preschool teaching Certification at Sierra College. This will be her 7th year teaching at Learn and Grow. Growing up, her Mom ran her own daycare, and she had the opportunity to spend a lot of time playing with children and helping them learn. That's when she decided she wanted to make her career in education with children. Amanda grew up in Auburn and loves to spend all her time outside. She and her husband enjoy keeping busy with their three year old daughter Carson. She enjoys hiking, swimming, and exploring. Some of her favorite pastimes also include gardening, cooking, and event planning.
Ms. Hailey
Teacher
Hailey grew up in Newcastle. She was part of the first graduating class at Learn and Grow. This will be her 3rd year teaching at Learn and Grow. She has been attending Sierra College for the past 2 years and was thrilled to complete her Preschool Certification last year. Her major is Early Education and she is working towards earning her teaching credential. Hailey has always loved being with children and being the oldest to her 3 siblings. Her mother is Ms. Kimberly, and she enjoys reading and journaling.
Ms. Kalia (Kay-la)
Teacher
Ms. Kalia has completed her Early Childhood Education courses. This will be her 4th year teaching Preschool. She has always had a passion for working with children; being the oldest of her 3 siblings and the oldest of 20 grandchildren she was always lending a helping hand with the little ones. Kalia and her husband have 2 children, Beckett (5) and Brynlee (4) who previously attended Learn and Grow! In her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family, hiking with friends, and diving into a good book.
Ms. Lorie
Teacher
Ms. Lorie completed her Early Childhood Development Degree at Sierra College. She has been teaching Preschool for 21 years! She was also Ms. Hailey's 1st Preschool teacher! For the past 11 years she has owned and operated her own large commercial preschool in Roseville, and she is excited to just be teaching again. Lorie taught at Learn and Grow 2012-2013. Lorie absolutely loves teaching this age group. Lorie grew up in Auburn and is one of 5 siblings. She is married with 2 daughters. She loves paddle boarding and the outdoors. Lorie also coaches 3 youth soccer teams.
Ms. Paige
Animal Helper & Teacher's Aide
Ms. Paige is a Senior at Placer High School. She plays 3 Varsity sports. She has always loved animals and has grown up with the Learn and Grow Farm animals. She is Ms. Kimberly's daughter. She is excited to have an official spot on our staff. Paige loves to travel and to be on the water.
Ms. Kathryn
Substitute Teacher
Kathryn earned her Bachelor's Degree from CSU Fresno. She has spent years volunteering in her son's classrooms and activities. She loves that she can enjoy teaching and be a present mother to her 3 sons ages 3, 6, and 10. Her and her husband have been together for 15 years, and are originally from the Central Valley. They are happy to call Newcastle their forever home and live near the Preschool. She loves to spend time with family, being outside, doing arts and crafts, enjoys animals, and playing sports with her sons.
Ms. Tiffany
Yard Duty & Substitute Teacher
Ms. Tiffany has a teaching credential in Ag education. She received her degree from Cal Poly. She absolutely loves children and animals. Her and her husband live in Newcastle and have a son and twin daughters. She loves being involved in her community through volunteering at our local Elementary school and 4H program. She has her own farm with alpacas, pigs, goats, ducks, and chickens. Her happy place is Disneyland!
